No matter which device or email app you're using, the steps to setting up a email address so you can send and receive mail will be similar.
Open the device or app settings and find mail settings.
Choose to add an email account.
Enter the email address, password, and server settings for your Shaw email account.
These are the (IMAP) email settings we recommend you use, when asked:

To use POP3 incoming mail server, use these settings:
Incoming mail server and settings: Incoming Mail Server: pop.shaw.ca Server Type: POP Security Type: None Port: 110
Encrypted incoming mail server and settings: Incoming Server: pop.shaw.ca Server Type: POP Security Type: SSL/TLS Port: 995
Outgoing mail server and settings: Outgoing Server Name: mail.shaw.ca Outgoing Server Security Type: TLS Outgoing Server Port: 587 Domain: shaw.ca
If you’re setting up Exchange ActiveSync, use these settings:
