Music has been a staple in a multitude of cultures and areas of the world throughout the ages. Music had started all the way back to the start of mankind to imitate the sounds of nature for hunting and gathering purposes. Though as we progressed in history, we had started to create music in a way to bring people together and to also educate each other, with the first-ever written piece of music found in a cuneiform “alphabet” in Syria dating back to 3400 years ago. Ever since, we have been evolving and progressing our music into ways more than we could think, especially with the renaissance era debuting classical music which would hold through, even today. 

Though through time we had started to branch into many different categories of music ranging from Jazz to grunge rock to rap. Music has started to create a bigger effect than something you go and listen to on a night out. Music has started to change the culture of our world in which we’ll see the progression of music and then see how much it has changed throughout the decades. Though also to see how much the culture has changed as the music has in the way the different album covers and music genres have evolved.
