Grocery Outlet: The Medford-NJ Grocery Outlet “WIN $1000 IN GROCERIES” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by Grocery Outlet, 5650 Hollis Street, Emeryville, CA 94608 (“Sponsor”). 

PRIVACY: All information submitted to Grocery Outlet as part of this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with the privacy policy located at https://groceryoutlet.com/privacy. If you live in California, The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) provides California residents with rights to receive certain disclosures regarding the collection, use, and sharing of “Personal Information,” as well as rights to know/access, delete, and limit sharing of Personal Information. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is offered only to legal residents of New Jersey who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates, distributors and companies involved in the implementation and execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) and each of their respective immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling and the “steps” of each) and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. By participating in this Sweepstakes, an individual who meets the eligibility requirements and enters the Sweepstakes agrees to be bound by these official rules (“Official Rules”) and agrees that the decisions of Sponsor shall be final and binding in all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes. 

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on August 14, 2025, at 12:01 A.M. ET and ends on September 12, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. ET (“Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official clock of the Sweepstakes.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes period, you may enter the sweepstakes in one of two ways:

Enroll in our customer Mobile App (“GO Mobile App”): At checkout provide phone number to the cashier or show your app to the cashier who will scan your app at your participating Grocery Outlet. Your purchase will automatically be entered into the drawing. Consult your GO Mobile App to review the number of entries you have completed for the month. 

Register on this page using the form below: Use the form below to enter if you are not entering via the Grocery Outlet Mobile App. You will be required to enter your first and last name and email address, as well as the state in which you are a resident. Online registration entries are considered to be received the next business day after you have completed the registration.

NOTE: There is a limit of one (1) entry per person per day during the Sweepstakes period, regardless of whether you enter in store at checkout or by registering online without making a purchase. Entries must also comply with the “Entry Requirements” described below.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: The use of automated entry devices or programs, or entries by third parties by any method of entry, are prohibited. Ineligible entries include entries that fail to comply with these Official Rules, as well as those that contain any inappropriate content (e.g., any obscene or harassing language written on an entry) or content that is generally not within the spirit of the Sweepstakes. We will have sole discretion in determining whether an entry violates the Official Rules, including these Entry Requirements. 

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF THE PRIZE WINNER: On or about the fifth business day after the end of the Sweepstakes period, we will randomly select one (1) potential winner from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period.

You do not need to be in attendance at the drawing in order to be eligible to win. Following the drawing, the potential winner will be notified by email (if provided by you), text, or in-app notification. Potential winners may subsequently be required to submit a mailing address and/or phone number. If a potential winner does not submit any requested contact information as instructed within 3 days from when the notification is sent, such person may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected by random drawing, if time permits.

NOTE: Potential winners are subject to verification by Grocery Outlet, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. An entrant is not a winner of any prize unless and until entrant’s eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete.

PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): There will be one (1) prize, consisting of twenty $50 Reward certificates that must be used within one year (“Prize”). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) = $1,000. Reward certificates will only be redeemable for use at the Medford-NJ Grocery Outlet location. No cash value and no substitutions. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winner will be notified on or about September 13, 2025.

Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period. No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for prize is allowed, except at Sponsor’s discretion. Grocery Outlet reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, of equal or greater monetary value if the prize or any portion of the prize cannot be awarded as described. Actual prize may differ from any promotional images. Prize winner is responsible for all federal, state, or local taxes associated with prize acceptance.

DISQUALIFICATION: If an entrant is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with the Official Rules, then such entrant will be disqualified. If a prize, prize documentation, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable or unclaimed, this will result in disqualification. In the event a potential winner is deemed ineligible or disqualified, an alternate potential winner may be selected via random drawing from the remaining pool of eligible entries.

LICENSE: By entering the Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, participants grant Grocery Outlet the right, without limitation, to use the participant’s name, city, state, likeness, photo, and/or entry for promotional, advertising, or other purposes in any media now known or hereinafter developed, without compensation. 

SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS: By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and any documents required by Grocery Outlet, to waive any right to claim ambiguity, and to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Grocery Outlet and its Released Parties from any liability arising from participation or prize acceptance. You further agree not to sue and irrevocably release Released Parties from any claims related to this Sweepstakes or the prize. 

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Released Parties are not responsible for illegible, lost, late, stolen, deleted, misdirected, undeliverable, or incomplete entries; technical errors; or any malfunction of any Sweepstakes website or entry mechanism. Proof of transmission does not constitute proof of entry.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, AND EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING THE PRIZE, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

TERMINATION/SUSPENSION/MODIFICATION: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, technical failures, or causes beyond the reasonable control of Grocery Outlet, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes and conduct winner selection from eligible entries received to date. Sponsor may also disqualify entrants who undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes.

DISPUTES: The Sweepstakes is governed by California law. Disputes will first be addressed between the parties, then through mediation, and if unresolved, by binding arbitration under JAMS rules. The statute of limitations for claims is one (1) year.
