Unfortunately they will never catch Google, which makes me sad as a ten year user. USA User and Programmer. First problem is being out of the UK, trying to compete in the US Market. Not even remotely close. Come on guys, I WANT you to succeed!

Honestly you will have to employ far smarter Engineers and Programmers/Coders. Scale 1–10 against Google who I hate and refuse to use? You’re a 1/One. Have to do better guys if you desire to compete in the US Market. If it’s a cost thing, which it always is, consider outsourcing to dark web coders/programmers. Tho known for dishonesty, they will at the very least, get you all up to American 2024 standards. I had to search ten times for the true owner on a HORSE in an American TV series. I never got to the true owner. That should speak volumes to you Engineers. You simply must do waay better. I want you to succeed. We HATE GOOGLE/Bezos! But to be the best in America requires a reality check on how you compete against the known best. Sadly, you’re sorely lacking. Come on UK Engineer’s! I am rooting for you. And have given you TEN years of my valuable time using only Duckduckgo. You MUST CATCH UP guys ok? Love and truths from America…smile. Get a Venture Capitalist for goodness sakes. I really want you to WIN!!

Well again this is the 3rd time this week I have to update the app! Frustrating that I have to do it every time I have to go online!!! Why is my DuckDuckGo Privacy Pro allowing all of my search queries to be completed through Google instead of DuckDuckGo? I would really appreciate any responses to this along with a fix to this!

Looking at my battery usage trying to understand why I have to charge iPhone everyday lately and this is why, over the last 10 days DuckDuckGo shows 10 hrs 20 min online use and 63 hrs 12 min of background use which is 33% of total use. This shouldn't be happening since I have turned off all Background Activities! Plus the apps version keeps getting reduced to a lower version, I have to keep going to the App Store and update it every time I want to go online which is daily. I keep sending feedbacks on many issues but they never respond nor fix them. Google keeps getting past their privacy blocks along with many others and they don't work on that either. Somehow there's another device that it's backing up to that's not mine nor can I stop it because I don't have apin. Well that's because I never set it up as I don't have another device! I have reported this as well with no response! I even paid for the Privacy Pro and now it's out of control!

I am a bit of a privacy nut, and so I carefully follow news and updated reports about how well different browsers and search engine engines preserve users’ privacy. DuckDuckGo is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best. To begin with, just the simple inclusion of the ability with a simple tap to easily wipe all web data that’s been forced on the user is an absolutely outstanding feature. We are told that all of those cookies they dump on us are there to improve our web experience. I always wipe all cookies, and I detect zero difference in the “quality” of my web experience. Another issue is fingerprinting. Is near as I can tell, DuckDuckGo and Brave have been neck-and-neck in their ability to minimize fingerprinting. My most recent tests show that DuckDuckGo has a completely unique fingerprint every time it’s used. Then, on top all of that, is the excellent search engine. Unlike some other major search engines, I detect no efforts to have favored websites forced down the throat of users. It is as though DuckDuckGo has quietly taken on the mantle of “don’t be evil“. And now they also give us access to several AIs for free. Outstanding.
