In 2025, Minerva Omega Group celebrates a milestone of remarkable significance: eighty years of excellence alongside professionals in the food industry.

Founded in 1945 by Mario Chiodini, with the support of his wife Maria and daughter Franca, “La Minerva” began as a small artisanal workshop in the heart of Bologna. Over the decades, and through the strategic acquisitions of Omega Foodtech and GAM International, the company has grown into a structured, international industrial group—while remaining true to its identity and founding values.

A shared achievement

Throughout its eighty-year history, Minerva Omega Group has embraced continuous evolution, combining solid family roots with a forward-looking, innovation-oriented approach. Three generations of the Salati Chiodini family have led this transformation, driven by significant investment in research and development and deep expertise in process automation. The company’s mission has been to serve the entire customer value chain with a broad, diversified range of professional equipment.

To mark this important anniversary, on Friday, May 23, 2025, the company brought together its team at the regenerated Battirame 11 industrial space, near its Bologna production facility. On this occasion, Minerva Omega Group reaffirmed its long-term commitment to sustainable growth, built on shared competence and vision:
