Text Tool Improvements and New Magic Tools (May 26, 2025; updated November 20, 2025) The Tux Paint Development Team is pleased to announce Tux Paint version 0.9.35. Text Pasting and User Font SupportIt's now possible to paste text from the clipboard into Tux Paint's Text and Label tools. Long spans of text will be word-wrapped automatically. Also, Tux Paint now loads user-installed fonts from more locations, providing the potential for a much greater variety of typefaces within the program.
Three new Magic tools provide a fun way to add trails of hearts, sparkles, and stars to a drawing.
Improved controls for the Hue/Saturation/Value color chooser Documentation translated to Swedish Other improvements, bug fixes, and localization updates are also part of this release.
