Opry 100 Honors is a special show series that pays tribute to Opry legends who shaped country music. Each show highlights an icon who paved the way and features today’s artists telling the honoree’s stories, singing their unforgettable songs, and celebrating their lasting influence.

On March 19th, we had a star-studded evening as country music’s biggest icons came together to celebrate 100 years of the Opry for NBC’s televised special, Opry 100: A Live Celebration. On November 28, 2025, come celebrate the exact 100th anniversary of when Uncle Jimmy Thompson sounded his fiddle for the very first time on what would become the Grand Ole Opry! This special show will walk through the Opry's decades from the very first performance through 100 years of Opry magic.
