Seher Hone Ko Hai plot and cast

Paarth Samthaan, who is popular for portraying Manik in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, plays the lead in the serial alongside newcomer Rishita Kothari. Paarth plays Mahid, a rigid Muslim man who is against women’s freedom, education, and rights. Rishita plays the eponymous lead, Seher, a free-spirited and ambitious young Muslim girl who wishes to fulfill the dreams of her mother by becoming a doctor. Qubool Hai actor Vaquar Shaikh plays Seher’s father, who is against her education, and Mahhi Vij plays her doting and supporting mother, who goes against the odds for her daughter’s dreams.

Seher Hone Ko Hai delves into themes of male chauvinism, women’s education, gender bias, and religious and social stereotypes.
