Medical care doesn’t have to bring life to a halt. Located in the Axelrod Pavilion at Morton Plant Hospital, the BayCare Infusion Center-Clearwater offers high-quality outpatient infusion therapy that allows you to still take part in most of your daily activities. Our specialized team, including pharmacists and registered nurses proficient in vascular access, provides seamless care for conditions such as cancer, hemophilia, heart disease, nutritional defects and neuropathies. As a patient, you can enjoy a comfortable environment with heated massage reclining chairs and TVs to ease your time during your infusion.

Upon arriving at the Infusion Center, all patients must check in at the front desk. At check-in, the following information is required:

Insurance authorization and insurance card(s)

Photo identification

To make your visit as efficient as possible, please arrive early to allow time for parking and registration/check-in before your appointment. You’ll find the BayCare Infusion Center is located near the Morton Plant Hospital campus, with easy access from Pinellas St, including a designated patient drop-off and pick-up area near the entrance. For your convenience, valet parking is available for patients.

We will provide snacks and drinks for patients, or they can store their own in our refrigerator. To ensure a focused treatment environment, family members and caregivers are asked to wait in our designated waiting room until treatment is complete. We will notify family members by phone when patients are ready for pickup after longer treatments.
