I went to FedEx Office to overnight some medication to my spouse who was out of town in Indianapolis. Upon being given the rates for overnight service, the gentlemen behind the counter informed me that I could get it delivered on Sunday for much less, so I went for that option. What he did not tell me was that it was not a guaranteed date for delivery, and in fact it was 2 days later that the medication arrived. This meant my spouse had to go 2 days without medication. It was important that this arrived as expected, and the clerk knew that I was sending medication. I would have gladly paid more to guarantee the delivery be on time, but I was never told that was an option. While I appreciated the cost savings compared to over night service, it was not a choice I would have made, had I known there was a possibility that it would not arrive as promised. (责任编辑:) |
