SERFF Login Is Getting an Upgrade with Okta To improve both security and user experience, we're updating the SERFF login process to use Okta, a secure Single Sign-On (SSO) platform with built-in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This change will begin rolling out in late summer. What's Changing? With the move to Okta, users will benefit from: One secure login: All your SERFF usernames will be consolidated under a single Okta ID - no more managing multiple logins. Stronger security: Okta's Multi-Factor Authentication adds extra protection, even if your password is compromised. Simplified access:One login gives you access to both legacy and modernized SERFF, as well as other NAIC-authorized systems connected via Okta. During the transition, both the existing SERFF login and the new Okta login will be available for a limited time to ensure a smooth experience. Action Required All active users were issued Okta credentials on February 28. Please activate your account as soon as possible to avoid disruptions. Didn't receive your credentials or need help with your Okta account? Contact us at help@naic.org. Self Service User ManagementThe first release of the modernized SERFF platform will feature a new self-service user management module designed to streamline and simplify the process of managing user accounts. This feature allows authorized users to create and update accounts for their company or state. The module will eventually eliminate the need for requests to the NAIC Service Desk. Authorized users can create new accounts, change roles and permissions, or deactivate accounts. The module supports access management for both the SERFF Legacy platform and the new modernized platform. The rollout plan includes onboarding all existing, active users to the NAIC's single sign on system, called Okta. In the weeks leading up to the release, the project team will send additional information about the transition to Okta and self-service. This self-service capability is expected to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction by providing a more intuitive and autonomous user management experience, The implementation of the self-service module will be carried out in waves, with the timing and size of each wave adjusted based on production performance and user feedback.
