Not quite the apps of a few years ago which were like turning our iPhones into live TV sets but it’s a nice enough app to use,not used it for much but no ads bothered me,I wasn’t hassled into trials and subs like filmOn did. It misses the usual big channels but you’ll find new ones to replace those and they have on demand so you can start a box set of fbi files without trials or signing a monthly subscription to them. Worth having as is any app that offers content free like this. When I had a nasty accident over a decade ago tv catchup kept me entertained in hospital but now it’s a hole bunch of apps to get the same content,but is doable. Hopefully they’ll not change anything & will last the distance... 😎👍

Trying to get into the app, not a tech geek by any means..had look online for any ‘reasons’ that the app just doesn’t come through... when I press app on icons on screen, it just comes right back to my home screen. Tried deleting. Re got the app from App Store. Instead of saying ‘GET’ it gave me that cloud-puff-thing’ which I pressed, it came back on my screen as an icon, but the same exact thing happened when I pressed to watch. Nothing is working at all.
Off subject, one thing I’d LOVE to see to binge-watch over and over was actually advertised as already being in Pluto tv (my main reason for the initial download) was SOUTH BEACH TOW. Once I’d downloaded it wasn’t there and I was disappointed..that was short-lived because I found so much wonderful things to watch in there, I have raved about it to people... maybe they’ve all gone in and got it and now there’s none left for me!! PLEASE can someone get my Pluto TV working again, and then bring me SOUTH BEACH TOW??

After updating app it logged me out, then said ‘your email is already in use in another region’ when I tried to log in my account again. Annoying if I have to use a different email login each time I update the app!!

Pros

- free
- wide variety of channels, of old and newer content
- lots of different categories
- updated with different content every now and again
- more choice than other similar free tv/movie apps

Cons -

Also offensive or inappropriate content/channels. Like disturbing Horror imagery/movies on demand and propaganda bias news channels that spread fear and hate, and another channel with offensive content of an adult nature

- User interface can be a little unintuitive, clunky at times. A little overwhelming sometimes too, also sometimes slow to load channels when you change to another one.

- some channels had audio issues

- sometimes subtitles didnt work (and they cut off zoomed in when watching pluto on a large tv screen, also the change channel up and down is in reverse so down is up and up is down on the smart tv app which gets confusing sometimes)

- also the app is less suited to smart tv’s than smart phones, loading times are longer and switching between menus or to tv guide takes very long, more laggier on wifi through a router box. So you would need to connect it directly to your wifi router/modem box with an ethernet cable or something for faster speed probably.
